My hospital has a public Wi-Fi that I use all the time streaming music from different sources from my iPhone 5. So I bought a third(newest)-generation Apple TV. I hooked it up to a monitor in my office, connected perfectly with Wi-Fi with a strong signal, and I got it hooked up to my iTunes account. It is streaming Netflix and even my photo stream. Working great. But, what I really want to do is stream certain video stuff from my iOS device ['s iPhone 5] With AirPlay through the Apple TV. So my iPhone and Apple TV are hooked up to the same public Wi-Fi, and I even double checked to make sure the IP addresses were the same on both devices. However, my iOS devices not offering me the airplay icon in my office although it works perfectly at home With my Apple TV they are. Any suggestions?

Add an airport express as an extension to the public wifi
Then connect your devices to it
