BTO iMac preparing for shipment! - Page 4

Ordered mine on December 3, so maybe I need to wait a few more days.

All I know is it had better get there on time.

Ordered on the same day and mine had a delivery exception at the destination today. Yours should be shipped by now.

Ok guys. Got my iMac. Fully loaded 21.5". Attached is the disk speed (obviously from the SSD).

This thing is friggin fast! Boots up quick. Migration assistant took about 2.5 hours to migrate about 400GB worth of stuff from my Time Capsule.

Tried migrating directly using a thunderbolt cable but it didn't work. The two computers wouldn't see each other .

Still playing but so far so good.

One other thing. The Geekbench score is 13800.

My 2011 iMac was 8800.

Still not shipped. Not preparing for shipping. Nothing. Im starting to get worried. I know mine is not bound for the US, but come on. It's been two weeks now.

So it still says processing order? You can always call Apple to find out what's going on. Couldn't hurt.

I ordered a BTO maxed out 27" on Nov 30 at 6pm cst, and sometime between 4pm cst and now (5:30 my order was ahcnged from processing to preparing for shipment.

Just letting you all know incase you were around my order time.

Getting psyched....hoping it ships w/in 24 hours so I have it by the weekend. ??

Called em 3 times already. They tell me they can't speed up or do anything. The shipment will make it at teh time indicated : Between Dec. 27 and Jan 6
