How do I switch off talking man on My iMac pc

It is probably VOICE OVER (CMD+F5 or CMD+fn+F5), found in System Preferences > Accessibility > Seeing > Voice Over.

thank you , i tried going into sys preferences but that didn't work

unfortunately my keyborard doesn;t have any function keys f5?

What exactly did not work? System Preferences? Accessibility?
Be as precise as you can.

What Mac OS X version do you use and does it also happen in another, even temporarily created, user account (if you can access System Preferences at all)?

That is one strange keyboard. I think I never saw one, thus could you provide us with a model number for that keyboard?
