This is the corrected Poll I did earlier. Sorry about missing a few configurations. I overlooked them but this poll is up to date. It will only use the 27 inch models and 2.9 Ghz, 3.2 Ghz, and 3.4Ghz. Sorry no 21.5 just too many to do them too.

THIS IS THE CORRECTED POLL.

Just to let you know I ordered my iMac with no fusion because I am not sure i trust the fusion drive yet. It has not been proven to me that it works flawlessly. I am afraid that it will fill up too fast being it's size is only 128GB.
Also you might comment a sentence or two in order to keep this Poll on the first page or it could get lost in the pages and harder to find. So far it is early into the survey but the results are interesting.

ok we had 26 people take the survey so far. We need more people to take this survey. The early results are showing...

1st place - - - 3.4Ghz i7, GTX680, 1TB Fusion with 29% of the vote

2nd place - - - 3.4Ghz i7, GTX680 3TB Fusion with 18% of the vote
Tied - - - 3.2Ghz i5, GTX680, 1TB Fusion with 18% of the vote

3rd place - - - 2.9Ghz i5, GTX660M, 1TB Fusion with 7% of the vote

The one I ordered is 3.7% or the lowest so far of the votes.

WE NEED MORE VOTING GOING ON. . . TELL YOUR FRIENDS.. . VOTE NOW.

Surprisingly enough more than 50% of the voters have gone for the top of the top.. I would have expected to see the other way around with the 21.5 base model to be the more popular across all..

The people taking this poll are MR regulars and probably Apple diehards. In other words, totally atypical of the average iMac buyer. Probably the overwhelming majority of iMacs sold are actually base models.... and those people aren't going to show up and vote in a poll.

This is probably true.

voted i7 3.4 680 1T-Fusion and I added an extra 8 RAM that pulled from an identical machine so the fellow forum member could jump to 32 gig. I've had nearly a month of uptime with over 7mil Page ins and 0! Pages out. Modest gaming, some video conversion, and average usage. Happy with my purchase. :D

Not all, I'm a recent convert. My practically maxed out iMac (3.4Ghz i7, GTX680 3TB Fusion - haven't maxed out the RAM - yet) is my first foray into iMacs. I have been a PC user for over 30 years.

3,4 i7 680mx w/ 1TB Fusion - just like many others, which hopefully doesn't scale, otherwise it'll probably be more like 4-5 weeks for delivery and not 3-4 like it says on my order:eek:
