Not saying that he isn't sorry or nothing, but the seperate issue being do you not think its a bit naive to say "oh, he apologized, thats ok thenĒ
When someone apologizes, actually compensates the victim and has not done the same activity to this date, I think we can forgive it. He did something bad over 30 years ago. I think itís persecution to keep harping on something especially when he has apologized over it. I think we can move on.

Nah.
No they really aren't awful, I've heard his chronic 2001 album (a musical masterpiece btw) through beats and I must say it sounded great.

The best?

No.

But definitely better than dollar store, Apple, Walmart brand headphones

Dr. Dre likes to Beat Women

Ethics and principles are no longer appreciated in today's society.
Sad, so sad.

One more thing, calling this guy a Dr. is total disrespect for those people who earned the title, not crowned them-self.

Ego. Ego. Ego

This is the stupidest post I've ever read.

Because chronic 2001 is a benchmark against which all headphones can be compared......

Sorry I don't share your hate for a musical legend, even if his product isn't the greatest for all, but for his genre of music they do sound great.

I don't particularly hate him, I have chronic 2001 somewhere.

I just don't like the fact they sell a product which is half the quality of the cost they sell it for.

In all fairness, he has a long way to go to get to that 'legend' status.

Quincy Jones is a legend. Ray Charles is a legend. Stevie Wonder is a legend.

Dre? still has a bit more to prove.

BL.

Dre, Jay-Z, Birdman/Baby, and Diddy are all certainly at legendary status and are titans in the music industry.

They are the Quincy Jones' of this era.

So as a consumer you don't feel we've got any rights to demand companies sell a good quality value for money product?

But seriously...... I have no intention of buying a pair of beats..... But I can just for see them being another company people work themselves up into a euphoric hysteria courtesy of apple's PR machine...... The issue I take with that over apple, is that apple produces reasonably decent products (although it should be noted quality has taken a dip over the last couple of years), where as beats do not make a quality product..... Apple may aswell have teamed up with huwai

He might like to beat women but that's why he called his headphones beats.

So he's being honest about his lifestyle.
