Software similar to SQL Dev and SQL plus?

So I've been working on a project for my database class and not going to have enough time to finish it in class. Is there any software similar to either of those?

I've even tried installing them both on my Windows desktop and have had very little luck getting either up and running.

Actually just found SQL dev. Going to see if I can get that running.
