looking for tutorials or books for mac desktop development

Hello all
im new to mac and objective c , but old timer in programming .
i want to learn how to build mac desktop apps , all i finding in the web
is how to develop to the iphones/pads.
can you please recommend me which books or better web links should i read ?
i way pass the apple "build your first mac app" tutorial

A good starting place is Objective C Programming: The Big Nerd Ranch Guide by Aaron Hillegrass. It is available in hard copy as well as Kindle format.
