iPhone 5 Camera goes crazy

hey there,

i have iphone 5 now for about 2 weeks.

and i realized yesterday that my camera goes crazy when i want to take a picture where a lot of light is.

i dont now how to explain that to you...first its like purple half of the screen, then it moves down to the edge of the screen and then up and so on...

does anyone have the same issue with the camera? should i call apple-care?

its nut just haze..the screen is really half purple at my iphone.

Have you even read the post? Or are you just illiterate? The link you are posting has nothing in common with the OP's problem, except for the words "purple" and "camera".

Does it show purple in the picture? If so can you post an example?

Take a screenshot. If it's a case you have literally half the screen is purple then something is strange.

The other issue where you take a picture where a strong lightsource is just out of the frame and the edge of the picture near that light source has purple near it that is known about and it's just bad photographic technique - all cameras do that to a certain extent.

its the same as in the linked thread. i called apple care and they will take the old one back and give me a new one...
