CAS Latency 9 vs 10
Buying online is not an option. Any international incoming packages get heavily taxed upon arrival.
So my options are locally sourced parts. G.SKILL 16GB (2 x 8G) F3-1600C10D-16GSQ Cas Latency 10 and Kingston HyperX 16GB (2 x 8G) KHX16S9P1K2/16 Cas Latency 9 Would the faster CAS Latency of 9 justify the price difference of $55? Will be installing this in the 2012 iMac and late 2011 MBP. |

CAS latency is (at its extreme basic) how quickly the computer talks to your ram. Lower is always better, but you're talking about a difference of 1 millisecond, so...
Pick whichever makes you feel better. |
