I've recently purchased a Behringer Xenyx 502 Mixer, which I had planned to use to record guitar, bass, and vocals into my 13 inch Macbook Pro. It runs Mac OS X 10.8.2, and I have Garageband 6.0.5.
What I've got is my guitar connected to the mixer, and the mixer connected to the computer via the "MAIN OUT" 1/4" jacks, to the computers 1/8" port. Is this a proper set up?
