21.5" or 27" 2012 iMac- Please help!

Hey guys,

I really need your help!

Im really really torn between the 21.5" or 27". Im comming from a 13" macbook. I plan to keep this mac for 5+ years. The ram issue on the 21.5 concerns me as there is no future upgrades. I dont mind spending an extra 300 on somthing that will last me a while, i just want to be happy with the ammount of money im spending.

Im worried the 27" will be to big for me. Im only a uni student and casual gamer.

What does everyone think/ ordered themselves?

How do you metric "too big for me"? Will it fit on your desk...yes or no?

I have a long desk, so it would fit. Im meaning it might be to big sitting at it and doing assignments etc. is bigger always better?
