I just ordered this for my 2012 mid-level mini, and suddenly doubted myself:

Crucial 16GB Kit (8GBx2) DDR3 1600 MT/s (PC3-12800) CL11 SODIMM 204-Pin
1.35V/1.5V Memory Modules For Mac CT2C8G3S160BM

Could someone confirm? Thank you. It was $75 at Amazon, if anyone wants to know.

Yeah, that ram should work just fine. Sometimes you can check the reviews if anyone has had any issues. The crucial ram that is labeled for mac is made for the mac mini/macbooks

Thanks for your reply. I did a lot of sleuthing and it seems Crucial have a bunch of different part numbers for the same product, depending on what system you are purchasing it for, just for their own inventory purposes. The one Crucial recommends on their site for the mid-level mini with 2.6 GHz processor is CT3650379. The one I ordered is CT3650367. But apparently both codes refer to the same product designated internally as CT2C8G3S160BM - there are several other shorter codes that refer to the same product too, depending on what system you are buying it for. It's all quite confusing. I think they even have different codes for the same RAM intended for the same system but in different countries.

I ordered that RAM today. It's currently out of stock but I can wait a week or two.

Just confirming I have the ADATA 16gb from NewEgg in my late 2012 and it works fine. No issues at all.
