USB 3.0 Hubs: Advice, Please.

My new 27" i& iMac will arrive soon. I am going to need more than four USB ports.

That is the one I picked as well. I just received it, so haven't had a lot of use from it yet other than to say it works.

Have you looked into the Anker Uspeed 10 port USB 3.0 aluminum hub? Looks way better than the 7 port one.

Well, the other is a newer version, and 10 ports is really overkill. I bought the 7-port, along with 16 Gbs of additional ram.

They both use the same VIA chipset, and I just prefer the design, although I agree that it's huge. The Belkin USB 3.0 hub looks just like it, but it has only 4 ports. IMHO, it fits the Mac best in terms of design.


I hope Belkin upgrades their old 4- and 7-port aluminum hubs though, they were really awesome:
