I have tried so many video convertors and they all end up bad, e.g jerky video or pixelated etc.

What Freeware video convertor actually works and can convert the original format to another format and still look and play the same as the original?

Thanks.

Handbrake+VLC, works like a charm,

or, spend a little money, and buy iVI pro (but get it from the Developers site, not the mac app store if you have a DVD library to rip, the app store version is crippled.)

Both work a treat for conversion, iVI pro even adds artwork and show descriptions to movies and TV shows, Handbrake requires you to use a 2nd piece of software to do that (Subler)
