Jailbreak apps to use for iPod Touch 4G that's always docked?

Gonna use my iPod Touch as a glorified desk clock when I'm gaming in fullscreen mode. What are some things I should download? I'm thinking I need to get some widgets, Intelliscreen or some alternative, and Categories to store away the apps I don't use.

Another two questions: what was that app that lets you organize stuff into a grid like Android, and is there something to get rid of Newstand?
