I'm trying to install windows 7 on my macbook pro 10.7.5 (Lion) through boot camp and a usb drive.
I've followed the boot camp assitant steps multiple times.
I've had no trouble in creating the Windows 7 install disk, downloading the support software from Apple to a second usb flash drive, or partitioning the drive. All of this has been completed with no issues.

I run into trouble after the drive has been partitioned and my computer restarts. After this restart, a black screen with a blinking white cursor and a message reading something like 'bootable disk not found. Insert drive/disk and press any key' shows up. I've inserted the usb flash drive that has windows on it and pressed every key, but nothing happens.

I don't know what is going wrong, and why it won't continue the windows set up.
