I plan to buy an ipad with cellular service with sprint in order to use same carrier as my cell phone (non- IPhone). If I am un-happy with Sprint, can I switch carriers by installing a new SIM card. If so, what is the cost? Thanks

I had a Verizon 3rd gen iPad and was able to connect to the AT&T network by switching sim cards. However, I wasn't able to connect to their LTE network, just 4G (about 10up & 1.5down). Not sure about sprint models.

you can switch to gsm,but no lte
if you look at the specs for the 2 ipad models you'll notice the difference
I see as a benefit to use 2 networks
plus payment is automatic!
