MBP can't connect to Panasonic Viera TV

Hello,

I have a mid 2010 MBP and a Panasonic Viera TV. I purchased a MDP-HDMI cable and plugged it in to both ends and....nothing. No new device or settings appear in the Display tab on system preferences, and no signal reaches the TV.

Help?

Cheers!--Tim

Which model TV do you have? Have you read the manual?

Try a different cable.
Try a different HDMI port on the TV(if there is one).
Try a different TV.
Try a different Mac if you can.
Try using the TV's VGA input if there is one.
