I just restored my phone and setup as new and still have contacts and calendar synced.

Perhaps this was the last day?

Or maybe syncs will not be available for new accounts and current accounts will not be effected on any new device?

Perhaps all that matters is the creation date of your account......

As a preventive measure I already exported my Google calendar and imported into iCloud. :(

I did a restore yesterday and I didn't loose sync. My contacts an calendar showed up after selecting them when setting up exchange. I'm thinking sync ends for new accounts and maybe new phones? I restored as new. No backup restored.

It's just that new accounts or devices won't have it.

Yes.

Exchange ActiveSync on iOS uses the iOS device's serial number as a unique identifier.

That means that it should continue to work for existing devices that are restored after the deadline passes.
