Hi to all,

While upgrading my Ram from 4 to 8 GB on my MacBook Pro Early 2011, I noticed some small switches when the Back Cover removed.

I found an image on the internet and I have put a blue cycle on these little switches.

Any clue what are they? I thought they might be for intrusion alert when open the Cover but no, the Mac Power's up even with the cover removed.

thank you guys, nice to meet you.

Ahh, I see, thank you very much.

By pressing them them down they were recovering again to the starting position so my thought.

I'm a rolling stone.

This is to make sure they make perfect contact with the backplate, they also need to move a bit for when you press on the bottom so you don't get dents.

And there are plenty more of them on the Logic Board.

Yes thery are plenty of them I just realised by looking again in the image.

There is a whole row of them in the right hand side. However in my Board they are silver and not gold as in the image above. :)
