VirtualBox + Windows?

Can you Please do me a favour?

Open up IE (yip old-dusty internet explorer) and press F12. Tell me do you have a IE versions number in the far right of the title bar?

The drop down should have IE7, IE8 and IE9 options. What are the options that it has?

I take it you're running windows 8? since you have an IE 10 mode.

if possible can you take a screen shot? I'm just not sure whether to purchase windows 7 or 8 as all I need is to test for web dev in IE.
