Tether to iPad on 4.02 with handy light?

Is there a way to use handy light app to tether without using mywi on the iPad to creative network first?
 
Using Handy light, I believe Yes, but your ipad has to be Jailbroken, and I don't know how that works, but their was a story on the iPad section of this forum detailing how (it didn't look easy)

otherwise it will not work.
