i've decided that i need some more ram
right now i have 512 that i had put in when i ordered my powerbook (lastest model). i think it is in two 256 sticks.

anyway i have two questions.
1. where are the best places to buy ram for my powerbook? (i live in australia)
2. we have an oldish ibook 700mhz with 384mb, can i put my old ram in there?

sorry i'm clueless.

Freight costs from North America to Australia can be high. Look for a source in Australia that offers lifetime warranty and a guarantee of Mac compatibility.

The iBook G3 700 uses PC100 or PC133 memory, not DDR, so you cannot reuse the RAM that came out of the new Powerbook.

Thanks
