Problem while syncing Photos: photo can't be displayed

App Q&A testing by request.
Whenever I plug my iPad into iTunes, I get the following error:
Some of your photos, including the photo "ballBeaglePad81%29.jpg", were not copied to the iPad because they cannot be displayed on your iPad.

As far as I can tell, I have no picture with that name in my picture folder on the Mac. Searches turn up nothing.

BeaglePad is the network name of the iPad, and I'd almost think this is a pic I drew ON the iPad while testing a paint program.

Anyone experience this, or have thoughts on how to deal with it?
