Selling 3gs on CL....any tips?

Selling my 3gs on craigslist....its currently jailbroken on 3.1.3....do not want to lose that firmware and from i understand if i try to restore thru itunes, it will automatically retore to 4.0.2 which the buyer doesnt want for obvious reasons. Is my only option to manually delete apps, contacs, remove sim and such? am i still at risk after all that?

cant you just wipe it from the settings on the physical phone?

I suppose I can but i have heard bad stories about that process taking too long and freezing up the screen and then having to restore via itunes

If you don't have shshs saved thru Cydia, that's all u can do.

No, that would delete everything including the os and will need a restore to start up again.
