Macbook Pro Slower Startup
Hi,
Recently my MBP has been starting up a bit slower, its nothing major, its just a bit annoying. I was hoping that for those of you who can be bothered, could you read what I have copied from Console and see if there is anything wrong with it in your eyes? Please note - I have starred (*) out my name in the text below: 28/08/2010 09:58:06 kernel PAE enabled 28/08/2010 09:58:06 kernel 64 bit mode enabled 28/08/2010 09:58:04 com.apple.SecurityServer[20] Session 0x5fbff962 created 28/08/2010 09:58:04 bootlog[39] BOOT_TIME: 1282985872 0 28/08/2010 09:58:06 kernel Darwin Kernel Version 10.4.0: Fri Apr 23 18:28:53 PDT 2010; root:xnu-1504.7.4~1/RELEASE_I386 28/08/2010 09:58:06 kernel vm_page_bootstrap: 900927 free pages and 82113 wired pages 28/08/2010 09:58:06 kernel standard timeslicing quantum is 10000 us 28/08/2010 09:58:06 kernel mig_table_max_displ = 73 28/08/2010 09:58:06 kernel AppleACPICPU: ProcessorId=0 LocalApicId=0 Enabled 28/08/2010 09:58:06 kernel AppleACPICPU: ProcessorId=1 LocalApicId=1 Enabled 28/08/2010 09:58:06 kernel calling mpo_policy_init for TMSafetyNet 28/08/2010 09:58:06 kernel Security policy loaded: Safety net for Time Machine (TMSafetyNet) 28/08/2010 09:58:06 kernel calling mpo_policy_init for Quarantine 28/08/2010 09:58:06 kernel Security policy loaded: Quarantine policy (Quarantine) 28/08/2010 09:58:06 kernel calling mpo_policy_init for Sandbox 28/08/2010 09:58:06 kernel Security policy loaded: Seatbelt sandbox policy (Sandbox) 28/08/2010 09:58:06 kernel Copyright (c) 1982, 1986, 1989, 1991, 1993 28/08/2010 09:58:06 kernel The Regents of the University of California. I have also noticed slower startup times with my MacBook Pro but I just thought it was just one of those things that happens over time when you use your computer.

If it is just that, then thats fine, annoying, but fine, however if its some driver thats messing with the system and slowing it down (i recently got rid of one that was making shutdown times 20 sec as opposed to 2 secs) i would like to get rid of it if i can
