PDA recommendations?

I need a new PDA to replace my old Treo. Having purchased previously from PalmOne I know that their products are compatible with Macs. Are there other manufacturers whose Palm PDAs are or are not known to be compatible?

I had about decided on the Zire 72 but now am thinking that I would really like to use Wi-Fi, what with our university's burgeoning wireless network. PalmOne doesn't really have much in the way of Wi-Fi. But I do like the fact that the Zire 72 has a built-in (albeit limited) camera.

Very helpful. Thanks, blackfox. I think I'm going to go with a Zire 72 for myself, and a Tungsten E for my wife.
