PLEX App

Hi to all,

I just cannot get the Plex app on itouch to connect to my iMac at all, it does not auto find and I've added 'friendly name' etc but no luck at all, what should I enter for 'host'.

Any help greatfully accepted.

P.S. Plex 9 on iMac is superb, excellent movie/tv info

Jayman over on the Plex Forums helped out (given how busy he must be today I'm extra grateful) and pinpointed the following which got everything working perfectly - now working a treat and it's definitely superb.



It sounds like the media server is not running. Inside of Plex can you go to Preferences > System > Media Server and toggle it off and on. If that doesn't work can you close Plex, make sure the Media server is off and delete ~/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server to reset the media server. This means you will need to re-add your sections and re-scan them.
