about hard drive enclosures
To add storage to my MacBook Pro, I'm buying an external hard drive enclosure with a hard drive of my choice.
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...ml#accessories I've never bought an external hard drive enclosure before and wanted to know if I need to buy any cables to connect the hard drive to the enclosure. The reason I ask is because I know you can buy either "bare" or "retail" drives and don't want to add another purchase without all the parts. Sorry if this is a stupid question, but its all new to me. Thanks for the help. |

No cables needed there, the interface is built into the enclosure. I'd buy a bare drive as well. The retail is just paying for pretty packaging.
