iPod touch pawning ipod for 4th gen...will they take it?

1.i have a ipod touch 2nd gen, small crack at the top on screen, lock button gets stuck at times, scratches on back.

do you think the pawnshop will take this(or does it has to be in perfect condition?) how much would they probably give me for it?
(yes i know i'll get more money on ebay/craigslist but i don't like fooling with them unless im buying and i don't know too much about selling on ebay)

2. what date does the ipod touch comes out in apple stores?
i know they said "next week...does that means monday?

also a little tip. Where ever you sell it, try to make it worth while. go out and buy some cheep $14 ear buds and perhaps a $15 itunes card. You may get a bit more money for people willing to pay more if it came with extras.
