Was just wondering if anyone had any good ideas of how to connect a Playstation 2 or Xbox to a Powerbook G4?

my friend has his playstation 2 hooked upto his sony vaio through a tv/video input card. it is actually prettu decent. i hae played gta: san andreas via that method and it wasnt bad at all. when i next speak to him i will find out what the thing was that he used. i know that it was compatible with mac's and he got it off amazon.
