iPhone slow to wake when pressing home button

Been having a problem with my 4 where the phone often needs two clicks of the home button to wake it up. Anyone else experience this? Not a major problem, but certainly not 'right' either.

I am having the same problem, kinda I guess; I noticed that I have to press within the white square in the center. Clicking around any of the edges doesn't do anything at all...
