I need to fix this proximity sensor issue ... While I can work around it, not being able to properly use my phone as a phone sucks.

But at the same time, I use tethering every day. It's honestly the only reason I have a jailbreak. I want to stab an ATT junior exec who who came up with the idea to charge more to tether, and use data that's already been paid for.

here's hoping the JB comes out soon.

i care, i had to buy a iphone replacement and the mfer came with 4.0.2. and its well known a jailbreak wouldnt come out until 4.1 was released. i miss my bitesms

There are some issues with BlueTooth in iOS4.0.x

I will upgrade to 4.1 if they got fixed.

The proximity sensor fix and bluetooth fix are really the only reason I'd like to update. I'm not sure that it's worth giving up a jailbreak for it though. I can be patient - but then do I really have a choice? I appreciate the DevTeam, et.al. and certainly don't want to piss any of them off by demanding a jailbreak now. I'll be patient and appreciative.

The only thing I would want from 4.1 is the ability to make FaceTime calls with the new iTouch. I was thinking of picking one up for my family this Christmas. Hopefully by then 4.2+jailbreak will be out.
