gizmo app

hello i purchased the gizmo app today so i can make free calls with my gv mobile. I also purchased the g.729 codec which is suppose to make 3g calls clear actually. when i call someone from the app its still using the g.711 u law isntead of the g.729 can anyone help out

I found that both incoming and outgoing calls routed to Gizmo through Google Voice will use g.711 u law, but if you make a call out directly from Gizmo then you are able to use g.729.
