Is it better to do a "wet install" for screen protectors?

My PS Crystal will ship this Friday and I'm wondering if it is BETTER (not easier) to "wet install" it. My friend works with ZAGG in the mall and is used to applying protectors and said he'd install it for free. Is it worth it or is it fine to install dry? I'm just worried about putting it on wrong or getting some bubbles!

IMO, it is easier for me to do the dry install like Power Support originally intend their customers to do. If you are scared of messing up and getting dust underneath it, take it to your friend

My Power Support Antiglare was very easy to install dry. I don't know how the Crystal is, but it'll probably be like the Antiglare, so you should be fine if you follow the instructions.

go dry man, believe me.
with the PS three piece easy install, it's super easy.

just remove the middle first, then slide the skin around on your screen until it's at the exact spot you want it. Then touch the middle where the sticky is exposed, now the skin won't move. Now remove the other two.

10x better than wet install, and 10x better than SGP install.

On the iPhone 3G & 3GS, the newer PS screen protectors came with a white sticker type thing that you put on the screen prior to installation of the actual screen protector. I don't know how it is with the 4, because I don't have a screen protector. But if it does have that, then it's easier that way for sure. It gets the dust out perfect.

The multi-piece installation kit for PowerSupport makes it incredibly easy to align their screen protectors and minimize bubbles. Just take the middle sections off and work at it till the bottom and top are perfect, then remove the bottom and top covers and let them naturally fall into place.

I am very impressed with this method and would hope that other companies using dry installs take note and work something similar. It doesn't get any easier than this.

sorry to hijack but does anyone have concern about wet install? Namely water getting into the home button and the ear speaker.

I bought a phantom skinz and i'm a bit worried about the wet install.

I cannot fathom why you would ever do a wet install of a screen protector like the PS or SGP or any other that is intended to be put on dry. Line the thing up and use transparent tape to get any bubbles/dust out that you accidentally let in when installing. It's not that hard.

And I wouldn't let anyone associated with ZAGG touch my phone.
