I just came back from the Apple Store at the Grove in Los Angeles. There must have been 1200 people or more lined up just to get inside the store. Bad news: I tried to buy Jag for $69 with education discount and they wouldn't let me do it, even though they said they would in a phone conversation. I talked to the manager and she gave me two free t-shirts, but said she couldn't give me the discount. I guess I'll just have to order it online.
Anyway, I had a good time and got some free stuff (mousepads, stickers, t-shirts), so it's not all bad.
