How to store itunes songs on separate drive from pB?

probably asked before, but..

My PB 12 has a 60G drive and the 35G+ songs I have for itunes/ipod fill it up - and I'm getting clsose to full....

Is there a way to have the songs on a separate firewire drive - NOT on the PB internal drive itself? and have itunes see the songs there - and not put them onto the PB internal drive?
Yes, I know I'll have to have the drive connected when I update the ipod or add tunes to Itunes
