White iPhone 4 for sale on Craigslist! w/ Pics

Yeah I would get a hold of him and see if you can check it out in person to see if it's legit.
Yeah I just did. I asked him where he got it from. He's also asking $980 so that price could be legit or a scam. We'll see in a bit.
Interesting.. Isn't there a way to buy the white parts to do the change yourself?
LOL! Was just thinking about that...Painting my iPhone 4 as we speak.
So the white dock connector I guess is a clue that this has been painted? Do they even sell white Chinese-knockoff iPhone 4 case replacements yet?

After I posted the question, I realized post #3 answered my question but I forgot to edit my post.
Since Apple hasn't even officially released the white iPhone 4 yet (there's not even a known projected release date), how can anybody in their right mind believe that legitimate copies would already be for sale on eBay or Craigslist?
I consider 3 possibilities:
1) It's a black iPhone that's been painted or has white front/back covers on it.
2) It's a cheap third-world white iPhone clone.
3) It's a clever Photoshop job by a ripoff artist who isn't going to deliver anything.

Its real. The people just replace the casings with knock-off white ones. they are not official ones so they will be without a warranty. I guess i'll just have to wait for the official white ones.
White Phones Out This Xmas
Actually some repair shops have all the official Apple replacement parts of the
white phone except for the logic board that they use to replace under warranty.
An original logic board from a white iphone are not yet available, but all the other parts have been available for weeks.
So actually this is 95% the same as an original white iphone.
Anyway the white one's will be out at Xmas

I also happen to be one of your biggest fan and a total Apple fanboy and proud to be Ive been saving up money to buy the new iphone 4. I want the white one but Apple said it wont be available until later this year. I know you must be asked this question hundreds of times a day but do you think we can expect to get the white iphone for xmas?

Yeah, and certain parts you have to salvage from the black iPhone 4. That means no turning back / no warranty.
That box art color doesn't match the rest of the photos?
