Here is part of a crash report I keep getting: Dyld Error message Library not loaded: libusbdll.dylib Did find /usr/local/lib/libusbdll.dylib:mach-o, but wrong architecture

I tried to download an application (Weather Display), and on opening it crashes with a report of library files not loaded and wrong architecture. My two questions are: 1)How would I add library files to an application which says "successfully downloaded"? Is this done in Terminal, if so how? Normally apps download and then can be opened by clicking the icon. Nothing more needs to be done.
2) I have a feeling that wrong architecture is a PPC/Intel conflict. I may have downloaded the Intel version first, before uninstalling it and reinstalling the correct version. Can I search for and delete the rogue Intel files? If so, how do I do this. I am new to working in Terminal.
I have been working on this for hours with no progress. Any ideas? Thanks
