Aquisition isnt very good. Just use the latest version of LimeWire. It still has problems but it is the best out there. What we need is Kaaza, and nobody start talking about Neo because it sucks. But I would reccommend dumping aquisition and getting LW, I used to use aqui but after using limewire I dont like it.

Has anyone here used iSwipe? If you have let me know how you like it.

You know there is an Kazaa app for MacOSX. I know it's not a full client but it works great for me.

KaZaa is open source, so if anyone knew how to port it it would be simple.

can u provide a link to the kazaa app for os x? what do u mean by not a full client, that you can't play the media files via kazaa? as long as the p2p part works that is all i need. screw limewire and aqui(unless it gets better, nice ui compared to LW)

Here is a link for the Mac Kazaa shadow client ,"Neo - .83," it is a Beta but works reasonably well with frequent feature and bug updates.

Actually...

Acquisition is the best program i know of. After leaving it on for one hour, i have found about 1,000,000 files. About 7,000 hosts, with ONE MILLION files.

I am looking on all Limewire Networks, Gnucleus, and Morpheus. Limewire SUX!!

How many of those 7,000 hosts actually respond? I hear that 90% of what you get with Aquisistion just sits there waiting to download but never will because it's dead.

Well

Some of that is true.

All you have to do is look at the reliability of the host, and it will tell you how reliable it is...

Re: Actually...

Try this port: 6364.

I got this from a friend who was a former Linux guy (I switched him to a Mac).. and he's into all these kinda stuff, and he told me to use this port. Actaully, it works really well! I got about a million files in 40 minutes. Worth a try.
