A slight OT: When should boardwalk empire appear for purchase on iTunes?

I intended to purchase the first episode today, but couldn't find it yet. Does it usually take some time for HBO shows to be available for purchase? When should I expect it?

HBO Shows usually don't appear till well after they aired about a year or so. Same with Showtime, they usually get posted about 2 months before the DVD set hits.

Why the long wait! If I'm going to have to wait so long I might as well get the bluray/dvd.

i am looking every where to download BOARDWALK empire season 1 on itunes to use on my ipad but just cannot find it

What do you want us to tell you?

If you can't find it by accurately typing in the name of the show, it's simply not there (for your region anyway, and it's not like you can purchase from other regions).
