Wireless network

Hi,

My sis got an ibook for her Christmas....nice present no?
She has a wireless access point/modem which is not an Apple Airport Access point. Is it possible to use it or does she need to buy an Apple Airport Access Point.

The wireless Airport card in any Apple product will pick up on any wireless hotspot. Basically she just needs to turn on the Airport by clicking the icon on the top right of the screen and it should pick up the wireless access point.
