Help Me! Canon A95 vs, Sony W1

I am in the market for a new 5m. gigital camera. I have narrowed my choices but i can not make a clear cut decision. I will probably have to go out to the stores and use them, but till them i really need your help. I do prefer Canon but i've never used a Sony. The feature set and performance of the Sony is outstanding however, i believe the Canon quality is better, i'm afraid of leaving Canon.

I'm not sure if this helps, but MacWorld reviewed 6+ MP cameras - perhaps you might glean some nuggets from their comments.

Generally, I think that at the mid-range level you're looking at, odds are that either camera would make you quite happy. They're very, very similar in price and features - so I don't think you can go wrong!
