Hi,

I wonder if someone who has received the new Apple TV could just give a brief description of the user interface for streaming music and video from iTunes on the new Apple TV.

I'm ripping DVDs in preparation and, from what I've picked up on various forums, I understand that there are issues with the metadata being shared from iTunes.

As I wasting my time getting decent album art and tagging the movies when they will mainly viewed via Apple TV? Do you see the album art or is it just lists and can you read program descriptions etc?

Thanks.

Hi there.

You see the movie title, movie art, genre, and description. Those are the only meta tags you'll have to worry about.

IT's pretty much like Front Row.

Basically a text list on the right side and artwork on the left of the selected media.
