Tethering

Hi all,

I just picked up an iPhone 4 with a 6gb data plan (Rogers Wireless Canada) now I'm wondering is it possible to tether the iPad to the iPhone without jailbreaking the phone? Can it be done with jailbreaking only the ipad and leaving the phone stock or does the phone need to be jailbroken?

You need to jailbreak the "access point." If I understand you correctly, then you want the iPhone to be the access point. Thus, the iPhone must be jailbroken.
