Hi guys
I have an iMac 27 bought Sep 2010. It came with a 1TB 3.5 HDD which I intent to replace with one 128 SSD Falcon II and one 2.5 500GB HDD. I cant find a guide on youtube nor in here on how to do this.
I am assuming I need to buy:
1) 3.5 to 2.5 bay adapter, one that can hold two 2.5 hard drives.
2) Some kind of suction device to separate the glass from the iMacs body
3) Cables, splitters and adapters to connect those 2 hard drives
4) Screw drivers
Ive done maintenance on my macbook pro before and it was very easy to install a SSD and upgrade memory, but I cant find an official guide from apple to perform the same procedure on the iMac.
I want to do everything right so I don't void the warranty.
Thanks in advance for the help!
Leo
