Apple TV Stuck On Apple Logo

Hey guys,

Just purchased my Apple TV and plugged everything in, and now my TV is stuck on the Apple logo. Anyone know what's going on and how to get past it?

apparently you can hold the menu button and down on the directional pad for 6 seconds to reboot the AppleTV. If that doesn;t work you could try unplugging the power cord and HDMI cord, and then re-plugging them to see what happens.
