Maybe I'm behind the times, but I've never heard this talked about, and I have been racking my brain trying to find a way to share system files to another iPhone.

The way to do is it simple. The phone that has the files you want to share needs to do the following:

Open and start mywi. Have the other phone find your iPhone on the wifi list and connect. Then on the "router" phone, start ifile and click on the bottom wifi icon to initiate "web server". Then go back to the receiving phone and enter the fake ip address in safari, and you're in.

iPhone to iPhone (provided they both have iFile running)

Well crap, that's what I was trying to do the whole time.

How fast or slow does it transfer?

When doing it like described above, it was going at 900+ Kbps.

It's been a while since I've tried it, but I do remember it was slow enough that I'd only use it for small files (<10 MB). If you have larger files stick with WiFi.
