I have an iBook G4, 512mb of ram, 40gb hdd, running 10.4. Recently, GarageBand quit working. It would show the initializing window, then Gagreband would show up in the menu bar, and then a window would appear stating that GarageBand "quit unexpectedly." This happens on iLife applications, and several other applications including msn messenger, openoffice, and Age of Empires 3. When I click report fot the Garageband crash this is what I get.

I used to have 1.5gb of ram and thought maybe I had a bad stick of ram so I took out the 1gb stick, but it didn't help. I have tried deleting preference files, resetting my pram and pmu. I have created a new account and tried to run it in that. I have tried to run it in safe mode and get an error saying the core audio driver could not be found. I do not have the restore disks. Is there anything left to try?

I have created a new account and tried to run it in that. I have tried to run it in safe mode and get an error saying the core audio driver could not be found. I do not have the restore disks. Is there anything left to try?
