Hi, this is my first post 😀

And I would like some help with displays.

If I was to buy an Apple monitor from the USA which is NTSC, would it work when I was home in the UK on a Mac bought from the UK which is PAL (i think, should be)

Also would a UK video card work in a USA Mac, if so what output would it have.

Very grateful for any help.

Cheers

I always thought PAL and NTSC have only to do with TV sets? So there will be no problem with either displays or graphic cards AFAIK.

Monitors don't use PAL or NTSC that's a television thing. A monitor is the same whatever country you use it in, the AL Apple Cinema Displays come with a universal power supply that operates between 100 and 240 volts you just need to make sure you have the correct plug for the power outlet in your country.

The AL ACDs have DVI inputs so you need a Macintosh graphics card with DVI output, or an ADC/DVI dongle if your graphics card only has ADC.
